The Churchill School and Center is a community dedicated to helping students with learning differences become confident, self-advocating learners. At The Churchill School, all children are capable of achieving their goals in life when provided the support and nurturing they need. Our mission as a K-12 coeducational college preparatory day school, “is dedicated to working collaboratively with students, educators, and families to help children with language based learning disabilities realize their full potential.”
Although a learning disability can't be cured or fixed, with positive intervention and a supportive environment, children with learning disabilities can succeed by learning to effectively manage their disability. The Churchill School and Center’s 12:1:1 student to teacher ratio provides every student the opportunity to realize their academic strengths. Our art, athletic, and technology programs help further the student’s knowledge of those all-important social skills needed to be successful in today’s world. Overall, The Churchill School helps transform learning differences into learning abilities.
The Churchill School community is a safe, welcoming community for both the student and family. We partner with you as your child moves through this journey and, together, we work to help them recognize and celebrate who they are and who they can become.
