Guidance

The college guidance program at Churchill puts students at the center of the process as they consider the best options for life after Churchill.  The program is designed to assist students in constructing appropriate post-high school plans that will allow them to maximize their potential as learners.  The college guidance team works closely with students and families as they engage in a search to find schools or programs that are best suited to each individual’s academic and personal needs, abilities and preferences.

Churchill provides students with a four-year comprehensive guidance program designed to help students gain a better understanding of their learning needs, and how those needs will impact their future academic pursuits.  Formal college guidance begins in 11th grade through weekly transition class, individual appointments and family meetings, and continues through the end of each student’s senior year.
