PA Executive Board

Meet the PA Executive Board

Allison Jupiter, President

Hello, My name is Allison Jupiter and I am the proud mother of identical twins, Emma and Lyla Korson in Cluster B. I am excited to be the President of the Churchill Parents Association. Prior to becoming President, I was the Class Parent for 225 and I have served as a Class Parent in the girls’ former Pre-K school.

In addition to being President of the PA and being a mother, I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice near Grand Central. Since my job is about building meaningful relationships and fostering wellness, I want to bring the same to the Churchill Community.

Also, in my spare time, you can me having dance parties at drop off daily or taking barre classes.

Alexis Godley, Secretary

Greetings! My name is Alexis Godley and I am the proud mom of a sweet second grader, Vivi El Hadj, and have served as a class parent since she was in kindergarten. I am thrilled to be joining the Churchill Parents Association in a greater capacity this year as I am passionate about strengthening its platform and look forward to growing deeper roots within the parent community.

I am a devoted real estate agent with The Meier Team at The Corcoran Group and have lived in New York City for 15 years. I adore the ocean and the outdoors, and spend many weekends upstate and out east, hitting the ski slopes in the winter and fishing with my husband, Robert, during the summer.

David Downey, High School Division Representative

Hello, my name is David Downey, your Parent Association representative for the High School. I am excited for the opportunity to give back to the Churchill community, that has helped our family for years. Suzanne, my wife, and I, are blessed with three wonderful kids; Jacquelyn 10th grade, Cyril 8th grade, and Genevieve 4th grade. Genevieve has been at Churchill since K, and Jacquelyn just started this year.

Like you all, we have seen the Churchill environment and way of teaching work wonders for Genevieve, and even Jacquelyn (in just a couple of weeks). I’m looking forward to meeting you all and having a wonderful school year.

Earlier this year, I celebrated my 11th year anniversary at RBC Capital Markets in Finance. I was previously at Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley before. Crazy how fast time goes by!

In my spare time, I coach basketball for several teams (had about three hundred games over the last four years), and co-run Manhattan’s biggest CYO basketball program.

Jill Kaiser, Treasurer

My name is Jill Kaiser and I am the mom of Nolan Weiss who is in Cluster B. Nolan started at Churchill in Kindergarten and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful teachers, staff and community at Churchill. I have loved getting to know many of you through my role with the Churchill Parents Association. I am also mom to twin girls, Holly and Cora, who are in the 1st grade at Sacred Heart.

I work at Deloitte in the US Strategy group. In my free time, I enjoy pilates, biking, reading, rooting for the Buffalo Bills and spending time with my kids at the beach. Looking forward to a great year and hopefully many opportunities for us to connect in person.

Kim Turchin

My name is Kim Turchin. I am the mother of two children at Churchill. Sebastian who is in middle school and Sloane who is the Elementary School. Through my role as the Middle School Representative, I want to be a channel to offer perspective, foster community and improve the school overall. Last year, I was a class parent for Sloane's class. I am also contributing to the school re-opening plan on the Health and Safety task force. I left a long career in hospital administration with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital to focus on my children’s special needs. P.S. 41, The Greenwich Village School, where Sloane’s twin brother, Aramis, attends has been a great introduction to a model school community. I serve as a class parent, co-chair of the winter fundraiser and new family ambassador. With my husband, Ken, three kids and dog, Bubbles, I live in Soho where I have served on the co-op board for the past 10 years. I enjoy downhill skiing and having a lazy day reading on the beach. I hope my kids will one day forget about the great effort it takes and find pleasure in reading.

Melissa Friedman, Elementary School Division Representative

Hi! My name is Melissa Friedman and I am thrilled to be serving as this year’s PA Elementary School Representative. My husband Jesse and I have two sons, Eli and Zach.  Eli is in Cluster A and Zach is in Kindergarten at PS59. This is Eli’s third year at Churchill and we have had an incredible experience here. The school has nurtured Eli and allowed him to thrive. It has been absolutely wonderful to see his confidence grow.  It’s also been very meaningful to be surrounded by other parents and families that share similar challenges.

In past years, I have served as a Class Parent and on the Benefit Committee.  I look forward to this new role and having the opportunity to meet new families and help foster the sense of community that contributes to making Churchill such a special school. I am excited to create fun opportunities for parents and families to get together outside of school. Fun fact – I am training for the NYC Marathon in November!
