The Churchill School and Center is a community dedicated to helping students with learning differences become confident, self-advocating learners. Our mission as a K-12 coeducational college preparatory day school, “is dedicated to working collaboratively with students, educators, and families to help children with language-based learning disabilities realize their full potential.”
The Churchill School community is a safe, welcoming community for both the student and family. We partner with you on this journey and, together, we work to help your child recognize and celebrate who they are and who they can become.
The Churchill School helps transform learning differences into learning abilities.
The Admissions Office is currently accepting applications for both immediate placements and for students to join us in September 2021. We are still enrolling students for September 2020 entry in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 9th grades.
The Churchill School operated remotely through the conclusion of the 2019-2020 school year and has chosen to have distance learning as an option for families beginning the 2020-2021 school year. While no virtual classroom completely replicates the experience of in-person learning, Churchill’s Distance Learning Program allows for the continuation of growth, both academically and socially, for all our students. Here’s what parents are saying about Churchill’s Distance Learning Program:
“We are so grateful for the education, support, guidance, structure, and socialization you have continued to provide during this unprecedented time. It’s amazing how the teachers, administration, and staff at Churchill came together and didn't skip a beat when the world was turned upside down. It took you no time to get the students on a remote learning schedule where they were able to continue to learn successfully and "see" their friends and teachers daily.”
“Thank you for adapting so smoothly to this new reality and for continuing to provide such an engaging curriculum. We are equally grateful for Churchill’s attention to the social and emotional toll this has taken and for being a calm and steady presence for us all.”
“We are so grateful to all Churchill staff who work tirelessly every day to make remote learning so effective and so fun. We have been truly amazed by how smooth and easy you have managed to make this feel. It takes a special community to pull that off! Thank you. Your hard work and dedication to our kids is truly touching, and we all feel it.”
